This show is getting harder and harder to stomach

I used to think it was entertaining seeing the degree to which these fame-seeking, egotistical millionaires were total fools and then seeing Patty yell at them but it seems the new season is too much of Patty's ego and a$$-kissing on d-list celebs. And then, behind all her a$$-kissing comes her a$$-kissing assistants. At least the other two assistants were more down to earth somehow anchoring this show a bit. Now it's just a commercial for everything that is wrong with our culture.

Its a guilty pleasure for most of the audience. There is no matchmaking going on. No one. Not the clients, potential mates (nor her "assistants") are vetted. What's the point of a matchmaker for millionaires who can only do the most superficial matchmaking? Its a fun train wreck. Well mean-spirited train wreck, but you know what I mean.

I am with you, I watched a number of seasons, it's just not that entertaining anymore. Too much of a train wreck I guess you could say.

I 100% agree
I used to love to watch this show because while there was a lot of Patty being rude and negativity and things, it was fun to watch people so full of themselves get taught a thing or two
it also seemed like genuinely (years ago) Patty wanted people to succeed
now she just seems to jump at ANY opportunity to criticize or embarass or clients, and what's worse is she thinks she is SO great that she threatens to 'fire' or 'abandon' her paying clients all the time

the combination of a ruder unpleasant Patty as well as a bad new batch of assistants just makes this show awkward to watch and frankly kind of sickening

I really did used to enjoy it but what is fun about just purely watching Patty say rude things about girls outfits / hair, millionaires attitudes and the things they want in a mate?

she has become just about the most judgemental person on the planet

and what's worse is Patty is so rude about many things and its obvious that a LOT of her advice is not even very good or practical. She also has turned into a hypocrite- Patty constantly emphasizes the no sex rule yet never endingly seems to make sexual jokes around her clients
similarly Patty berates her clients for their failures and problems and justifies it with "see and that's why you're single at such and such age" when even she only just got married at, what, 50 some years old!? and has been married for months?

the show just is not much fun anymore. it never had taste but at least it used to be entertaining.

If i go crazy will you still call me Superman?

Yeah I think that's it, all the sincerity is gone, now it's just about maintaining her brand.
