That is a guaranteed fact as they have a very public honor code that everyone has to abide by before becoming involved with the university. The honor code is specific and enumerated in the application to be a student at the school. Faculty and staff also have to sign the same honor code. A few years back the Cougars lost a 1st string QB before a rather big game because he tried to deny fathering a baby whose mother was looking for financial support. She provided DNA results to a judge after suing him for support. He was permanently suspended. Not just for violating the morals clause, but for lying about it to administration. He ended up at the University of Utah for a semester or to trying to get back on the football field. One of the Cougars basketball players was suspended for a semester for violating the morals clause. He decided to admit his violation. He was honest about the situation with his girlfriend. He was suspended from the team but not from the school. If your recruit did not want to follow the rules, he should not have applied to the school.
