share2 German princes have appeared. The German titles are no longer recognized in Germany though. But neither of them are actually princes anyways, they are both adopted.
Mario appeared first. He was adopted by his mother's husband, Prince Waldemar, a German Prince (Waldemar's mother was a Danish Princess). Waldemar and his biological children are in line for the British throne. As an adopted son, Mario's title is completely honorary, and he is not in line for the British throne. He appeared on a Dutch dating show before MM.
Max is the adopted son of Zsa Zsa Gabor and her husband Fred. Fred himself is an adopted son of a German princess. Fred's title is simply honorary, royal titles can't be inherited via adoption with a few exceptions. Max's title prince Anhalt is simply his last name.
I think Patti was by far the most hilarious in this episode with the prince.
