5 reasons why MMM is ridiculously bad and Ms. Stanger sucks at her job

1) The woman gives horrible, pointless advice and her lack of dating/relationship savvy shows in her own inability to attract and keep a mate. She's in her 50s and has never been married. I can't imagine any man would want to actually date her long-term.

2) The woman is a complete khunt, and sure, it's good for ratings (not really, though, since everyone I know got frustrated with her and the show a long time ago and stopped watching it), but her khuntiness is juvenile, like when she name-calls people and gets frustrated with them for making more sense than her, and throws a tantrum and stomps off or kicks them out of her office, and you're left there thinking, "But that person was absolutely right, you stupid cow!" and then you're like, "It's just as well; Patti is a moron anyway and you're better off finding a partner on your own because she was probably going to hook you up with some vapid jacktard you're not attracted to and have nothing in common with." WHICH BRINGS ME TO:

3) She does not know how to pair people. It almost seems like she just chooses "matches" out of a hat at random, or chooses them based on who SHE would want to date. She hooks people up who have nothing to do with each other's interests and would never like each other, and this is shown by the horrible success rate of the dates she arranges. WHICH BRINGS ME TO:

4) The dates she arranges fail almost every time. Her service claims to have a high success rate, but call me crazy, but that's not what I've seen on the show. About one out of 20 people agree to even go on a second date. And a third date? Almost unheard of. And a happy long-term relationship? Never. The "matches" she arranges are virtually always catastrophic failures from the start.

5) Two words: CRYSTAL HEALING. Yes, folks, she actually PRESCRIBED CRYSTAL HEALING for one of her female clients. And then had the audacity to call the client difficult and non-compliant for being like, "Haha, no, what, are you kidding?!" And then the poor client actually had to sit through a crystal healing session to "get rid of her masculine energy" or some crap. Basically this Patti woman is an idiot who believes idiotic things about the way relationships work, and about life and reality in general.

@TitaniaTesseract,

I imagine she must have some sort of success rate to be this arrogant but agreed...

It makes no sense that anyone would take advice from a woman who has not found her perfect mate. We are not talking about a 20 year old. We are talking about A womna in her 50's that has never been married or have children. Honestly you wouldn't take parnting advice from this woman, yet you would let her help you find a spouse.
and....
Lt us not forget that this is the woman who just wasted years in a relationship with a man that doesn't want to have children. Um, Patty isn't that MMM:101 don't waste your time with someone that is not intrested in what you are interested in because they will never change.

Also, her dating advice is pretty much common sense.

Ladies don't let a man disrspect you.
Men don't disrespect woman.

You don't know me.
You only think you do.

Apparently the show is not a good reflection of her actual matchmaking skills. On the show, they have a limited amount of time and it's really stressful so I understand that point. I feel like on the show she sets people up who she wants to grow to love each other rather than fall in love (similar to the arranged marriage concept). I do, however, think a lot of the failure dates are because of the clients.
I don't think Patti is ready for love because she reminds me of the female clients who are very into their career. She doesn't have to get married or even have kids at this point unless she's really ready, but that's on her and I respect her choices.
I'm feeling rough, I'm feeling raw, I'm in the prime of my life.

Remember, the clients we see on the show are NOT paying clients.

They're chosen for her by the show's producers - they're likely pre-selected precisely because they're such losers in the social department. They're also getting matchmaking services for free. It's reasonable to guess that the majority of them don't even care about finding a mate, so much as just getting on TV.

It's not hard for me to believe, given the match-ups we do see on screen, that she could do MUCH better with a client who's actually committed to success, and has invested his own money in securing that success.

Yes. Exactly. The "clients" that we see, profiled on the show, are a poor example of what see did before the show began. Most of them are only interested in being on TV. That goes for the "clients", the daters', and most of all Patti, herself.

She is a fraud. She is a 50 something made over to look like a 20 something, has never been married, and centers her entire dating scheme around rich people looking for a partner. 99% of these potential matches are nothing more then gold digging trophies!

Aside from all of that, I CAN'T STAND how trashy she talks!!!! OMG, is she supposed to be a professional???? And she talks about getting "wet downstairs"...ummm, WOW.....

She's a joke.
