Finale before release of Multiverse of Madness
The MCU is into full blown mystical, supernatural, and soon to be Cosmic storytelling.
How do you go back to a grounded, technology based, muscle driven set of stories and heroes?
The same way they do in the comics. Sometimes they have cosmic stories then they’ll have stories about mobsters and then another about dictators in suits of armor. It’s pretty simple.
shareEntertainment is a copy-cat medium and (not saying it is a trend yet) when your favorite heroes start fighting zombies it becomes increasingly hard to have them then turn back around and fight bank robbers. 🤣 The world that the average citizen inhabits seems so, so less important (within the bounds of the story of course) for the reader to relate to.
You can only wreak havoc on New York with a different type of threat a few times.
I want to see Moon Knight team-up with other heroes, but do I really want only the non-traditional heroes to be his Band of Brothers?
Nah, we've already seen heroes in the MCU go from fighting cosmic villains to bank robbers. It should be fine.
