I watched this to see the cool costume and special effects.. but ended up really admiring it because of the performances

I love Isaac in this series! I'm not sure if I love the series as a whole, but Isaac is the whole show and he's carrying it, making every scene lively and totally real.

I don't love Hawke, his villain isn't enjoyable like my favorite villains and he's not scary either... just sort of vaguely repellent. Part of it is that godawful hair, but not all...

I was going to start a thread just on the performance of Oscar Issac. He is truly excellent in his portrayal of these multiple entities and his physicality makes it seem like two distinctly different people.

I have to give it to Issac and Hawke and how they play off each other. After the reveal of Episode 4 you need to go back and watch episodes 1 through 3 to grasp just what is being said and how it is being said. Yes, this is about multiple personality disorders and sometimes you wonder if more than one person is the lens for this series.

Short but great series so far. Outstanding performances and the production value shows where the money was spent and the detail is really present.

Both have given extraordinary performances. Especially Isaac.

I really hope that at some point they are given the right movie to win an Oscar.

Especially Hawke, whose been nominated two times for acting.
