Sequal defo in the pipeline
For anyone into their MMA (mixed martial arts) some of you may or may not have heard of Eddie Bravo. For those of you who are new to the sport, Eddie Bravo has been one of the most influential trainers in the sport currently residing in California today.
I'm happy to confirm that according to his Twitter feed, he just mentioned that he had just went through the script for Never Back Down 2 with one of his friends in the film industry.
He mentioned that the film would use a lot more authentic MMA fight techniques within the choreography including the 'Rubber Guard' and 'twister' moves, usually employed on the brazilian jiu-jitsu ground game side of the sport.
I for one am very excited to see such moves executed in a pop action fight flick, and i think it could very well be, a step in the right direction for a loyal representation of the sport.
For other awesome upcoming flicks based around the fastest growing sport in the world that is (MMA), check out the film 'Warrior' which is also currently in production and starring great brit actor Tom Hardy.
