Do you do martial arts? Because in my opinion it's the only valid reason to like the movie. I liked the movie but only because I recognized a lot of the techniques in it and they made me excited.

that doesn't make sense... how can a movie be horrible, but entertaining? what else is a movie supposed to do besides entertain you? you people here on imdb are expecting oscar-worthy performances and screenplays every time you turn on your tv. it ain't gonna happen.

The same way The Room can be a horrible movie, and yet still entertaining. The entertainment lies in laughing about how horrible it is.

This doesn't at all apply to this movie, but to answer your question in general, a movie can be so awful it's hilarious. Discovering each element, from acting to scenery to dialogue to plot to etc. and each new abysmal detail.
