Watched this after hearing it be compared to Hereditary and some other indie horror films and what the hell are these people talking about!? It's like someone wanted to make an A24 type horror film, but instead of going for any real scares they just went for cheap jump scares and a generic story we've seen done a hundred times before and much better than it was here. Hell, it even ends with a cheap "gotcha" jump scare. How the hell did this actually get good reviews?

I just watched it after seeing numerous people call it the scariest film they've ever seen. (I've also seen people compare it to Hereditary also.)

It was just alright...not sure what it is about it that clicks with some people.

Not a horrible film by any means but nothing that stands out.

I liked it and thought it had a great build up, but with no real pay off at the end.
