This movie described my last relationship perfectly

It started off smooth and we got along really well. We had the same interests and we could sit for hours on end every night just talking about stuff, I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately after 7 or so months, she texted me on Facebook and said that 'it wasn't going to work between us' and all that, and I felt like as if the whole world just came crashing down upon me. I tried to talk to her several times after that, but it was never the same.. I couldn't look at her the same way, I could not speak to her the same way. Oh how I miss that relationship.

Anyone here ever experienced the same?

To the OP: Sounds like you were in the Friend Zone or the Friends with Benefits Zone.. and she eventually found someone that made her feel a spark, which she interpreted as Passion / Real love.

How long did her new relationship last?

Friend-zone, definitely not, friends with benefits zone, I dunno. She always called me her boyfriend and we always did things with each other almost every day, and we always acted like girlfriend and boyfriend etc. After she broke up with me she didn't get into a new relationship, and if I'm correct she's still single.

If you want her back, show her somehow you're a bit changed and your happy with your life and you're seeing someone else.

If she broke up with you other than no other reason she was bored with her life and needed to find herself and there was no other guy in the picture, then she would get jealous that you moved on and make a play to get you back.

But that's just to get back in the door.. and it may not last because those issues why she left you in the first place will still linger... Which will eventually may drive you out the door.

Sad to hear about your troubles OP. Unfortunately we all go through these things. The best pay back is to move on with your life because eventually that girl that did that to you has karma coming back her way.

This is my current relationship.

...this sounds nothing like the movie. The only similarity is that the girl decided to stop seeing you.

So basically this sounds exactly like your relationship in the same way as forgetting Sarah Marshall.
