A brilliant piece of non-verbal acting
The whole park bench scene at the end was a superb piece of acting by JGL (especially the moment when she tells him "What I wasn't sure of with you"), but one moment in particular always gets to me. When Summer puts her hand on Tom (the hand with her wedding ring), Tom looks down and then looks up at her while Summer is looking straight ahead. You could see the absolute longing on Tom's face, as well as understanding that he has to let go. Just a brilliant piece of acting there by JGL.
