Isn't Tom a bit too needy?

I've been doing a recap of romantic movies of the previous decade(s), and I find Tom to be too needy by today's standards. I mean, we are living in the age of Tinder, even labels like FWB and NSA are starting to seem old now.

I also don't subscribe to the stories of Tom's friends. I mean, LA (and USA) is such an awesome place, if you're a 4/10 you'll get laid with a 4/10 (or maybe 3 or 2.5, but that's ok). It's not just guys with Tom's looks who get the casual sex. People need to cheer up and recognize what an awesome country USA is. You've no idea how *beep* outside world is (particularly for dark skinned guys from Asia) when it comes to sex. In my *beep* country it's still no sex before marriage.

Just wanted to blow off some steam.
