Wanted to like it…
Why can’t we ever get a good horror/thriller without getting intelligent characters taking the most stupid decisions? (Not finding a better spot on the beach, literally breaking and entering a stranger’s home, coming back to the same spot the next day and leaving your bag with your car keys, wallet and phone out of your sight. Keep driving too fast when you don’t see the road ahead because no headlights. While hiding behind a rock, stand straight up so everyone can see you when your husband yells for you to run…) this gets me pissed off because this an otherwise successful movie at toying with your nerves and building up tension. If you’ve never had thoughts of hurting young teens, this movie will make it for you. But honestly, I’m not sure what pissed me off the most; the characters’s actions or the director/writer’s decisions. My rating: 5.5/10
