Similarities to The Strangers *SPOILERS*

After watching the American Home-Invasion horror film "The Strangers" countless times and finally seeing "Eden Lake" this year, I noticed a lot of sinilarities between the two.

At the end of The Strangers, each intruder took turns stabbing the two tied up victims. In Eden Lake each gang member, except for the gang leader and the girl member recording the brutal acts, took turns stabbing Steve after capturing him when he was trapped in his car.

At some point during The Strangers, the victims found a gun, and James ends up slaughtering him and his girlfriend's friend who he thought was one of the masked intruders. In Eden Lake Jenny creates a makeshift stabbing weapoon out of glass and moments later confuses a gang member for an enemy who she slaughters, when all he was going to do, was help her.
