If only she'd been nice to the dog....
Honestly, that was my only thought throughout this film (that I watched over three parts, because really, it was rather *beep*
The dog was annoying but in no way aggressive -- where was the need for all the fear and anger toward it? And I agree, if anyone killed either of my dogs, I'd be pretty pissed too.
The story had the potential to be a decent thriller, an examination of how our environment and upbringing shape us; instead it was just a *beep* story with a *beep* script and *beep* directing. Jenny was wholly annoying and in no way sympathetic -- was she suppose to be? Where they both suppose to be victims we didn't like? Even Fassbender was annoying and someone I wouldn't get along with, much less find sympathy for -- although it still proves his brilliance as an actor. All the kids were great in their roles, but there was just so much wrong with the movie.....
