'Not my kids' Spoilers. Urghhh!!!

The scene where he's in the cafe asking about the boys on their bikes and that they stabbed his tire, the first thing she said was "Not my kids" with that stupid superior look on her face. This infuriated me because I actually know mothers who are like this. Their kids can be spoilt, trouble making little brats and after getting harassed my them instead of the mother having a word with them or punishing them in whatever way they reply with "not my kids". It's actually happened to me once and I just wanted to smack the smug, confident look off the mothers face because her child and his friends still kept harassing me. This is why some kids today run wild and do whatever the hell they want and turn into teenage hooligans because the neglectant mothers refuse to see that their kids are brats and that they don't know what thier kids are really like at all. So letting them do what they want means the kids feel like they have the right to do what they want especially since they have dumbass mothers who constantly side with them instead of facing the truth.

Well said! These neglectful parents are out there en masse and their numbers are growing like birth rates!

Yeah you have that going on but to then cover the murders of so many individuals. Do you really think anybody would do that and think they would get away with it?

I'm not saying that the events were realistic, I'm saying that a lot of hooligan behavior is enabled by parents who--whether or not they know their kids are to blame--refuse to acknowledge that their offspring are anything other than perfect examples.

No she's not refusing to acknowledge it.... she knows what they are like.

When she replies "no my kids" - she's not saying her kids aren't like that and wouldn't do it... she's invoking false loyalty... "I'm not having you say anything against my kids whether its true or not".

reply

Yeah I know the type too and they defend their brats.....until they start to do something to annoy them or they have to get off their lazy arses because of them and that's when the child gets a slap!
