Too bad that kids today are portrayed as violent sociopaths. But when Jenny said let's leave, they should have gone home

Exactly. Watched this today. Because Fassbender was in it. Unbelievably stupid film. Just dealing with the locals at pub and diner, I would have split. I was thinking..yeah, hillbilly wierdos...they have them in England, too.

End of the world? So what.

They totally should have left WAY BACK IN THE BEGINNING. And when they went into town for food, I thought they were going home but they went BACK to the lake. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Oh, that would make for a great horror story. Couple goes on a vacation and get run off by teenage bullies. They go back home and live their normal lives. The end. I would have definitely paid to watch that instead.

They kind of address that though; she wants to go but he doesn't as a matter of principal. His attitude is understandable and realistic, people don't like being bullied by kids. The problem here was that Bret really was a psychopath.

It is not sensible though. When you are fighting over having fun, that defeats the entire purpose of having fun. How on earth can you enjoy yourself when your entire trip is revolving around conflict?
