You ARE a Criminal

I'm not one of the people who says that this show glorifies the people in it. I think that the show is great in that it allows the participant(s) to tell their story, and then allows us to decide what to believe about it and what to think about the people.

That said, it does annoy me sometimes when the participant says, "I'm not a criminal!!!" Well, yes, you are. You smuggled drugs, which - as naive as you may be - you must surely have known was a crime. So yes, you are actually a criminal. I know what they mean in a general sense: that they aren't some hardended lifetime criminal, and/or that they aren't the mastermind behind the operation. But still. It's refreshing when some of them take full responsibility.
