Panama (2010) episode

They were beyond stupid. They hear gun shots, their guide drops everything and runs in terro, the people they met that were on the trail ahead of they come running back in terror and tell them that one of them was shot. So what do they. They aren't sure so they discuss it then they decide it is safer to walk in the direction of where the guy was shot. The took stupidity to a new level

Exactly. It's very hard to muster up any sympathy for these cocky dimwits. And how exactly is putting your life in danger supposed to bring you back to your roots? That guy should've counted his blessings that he was adopted and rescued from such a dangerous country.

It's been a year, but still. Just saw the episode.

The "tool" happens to be Robert Young Pelton. I would be so bold to claim he has some experience with conflicts.

I'm watching it now on Hulu & just shaking my head.

Just saw this one last night. Yes ... aside from the "wisdom" of the whole hike in the first place, when they hear the gunshots they decide to walk DIRECTLY TOWARD THEM. Not only that, but they decide to speak really loud so that the people will hear them coming (I guess the idea was so that the people wouldn't think they were being ambushed, but still). My first thought would be GO BACK. Fast.
