Hubert Humphrey left out.
This is the second film I've seen about the Voting Rights Act, and I don't get how the Vice President HHH coukd have been left out of both, considering that several sources point to him as bridging the differences between Johnson and Dr. King. PBS aired documentary on Humphrey which showed him criss-crossing the country drumming up support. Then Johnson signed it and took the credit. It was a while ago, so that's as much as I remember other than the U.S.royally blowing the election in 1968, part of which due to Nixon exploiting the law's racist backlash.
