I liked this film but I feel that it was overly long and talky. If it were about a half hour shorter and showed more action and less talk it would have been much better.

Also, the actor who plays President Johnson does an absolutely AWFUL job of trying to speak with a Texas accent. He may LOOK a little like Johnson did, but he did not SOUND a thing like him.

And why is Martin Sheen unbilled ?

I was wandering the same thing as spookyrat... What kind of action?...Did you want to see more children being blown up? Or more beatings of black people?? I'm truly curious.
