No one questioning Tim Roth's quotes about George Wallace?
Per IMDb Trivia for Selma: Tim Roth grew up during the Civil Rights Era. He said he remembers George Wallace, thought of him as a "monster," and was "amazed at what was coming out of his mouth."
Tim Roth was born in London, on 14 May 1961. In the 1972 campaign, Wallace announced that he no longer supported segregation and had always been a "moderate" on racial matters. On May 15, 1972, he was shot five times, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down for the rest of his life.
Now, if he had been living in Alabama during those 11 years, then I might understand him remembering George Wallace. But London? Wallace was at his douchyness in 1963. Obviously, Timmy was too young to even remember anything that happened in 1963, or '64, or even '65. So, how many 5-10 year old Londoners do you think were hip to politics in the USA? Or even cared?
