When MLK said "it wasn't me".....

Everyone in the theatre fell out laughing lol. He should've known that Coretta was too smart for that.

reply

Yeah. I laughed too. Especially the way he said it, trying to cover up but it was obvious he was lying. She was too smart for it. That's why she says, I've gotten used to it.

reply

Good moment. It humanized him.

I am the Alpha and the Omoxus. The Omoxus and the Omega

reply

Yeah, I guess you are not really human until you have committed adultery.

reply

Ummm, nope. MLK has been defied. Just like eveyone else, he made mistakes. This just happens to be one of them. Putting it in the film humanized him.

I hate it when people claim cheating as being a mistake. If you lock your keys in your car that's a mistake. If your going out with other people behind your spouse or partner's back and doing what you can to keep them from finding out that's not a mistake, you know very well what you are doing.

reply

He's Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King not Saint Martin Luther King.

reply

MLK was on the road a lot and must have had some fine women throwing themselves at him.

Preacher or not, he was still a man.

reply

In the words of LBJ to that racist fbi leader," a southern preacher who *beep* his choir now who ever heard of that. " goodness I would have loved to see a realistic version of the events where LBJ made Wallace *beep* his pants. When Wallace met the president to talk Selma Wallace big mouth pussied out . LBJ was known for being intimidating .

reply

I was reminded of Shaggy.

"Don't cry, it is to be. In time, I'll take away your miseries and make 'em mine. D'Evils."

reply

When he said "It Wasn't Me" I thought he meant it wasn't him who farted!
