Who played the redhead marine who notified family and waited for Strobl?

I already deleted the movie off my PVR, so I can't check the scenes of dialogue to see if the character was named (or the credits of the film to see if the IMDB has missed a few actors). Anyone know who that red-haired actor is ?

He was the one who, at the beginning of the film, we saw going up to the Phelps house with another marine to notify Chance's mother at 2:30am (some details stick, like that one). And then he was pretty prominent in the film once the guy Kevin Bacon was playing arrived in Wyoming (viewed/inspected Chance's casket/remains with Bacon, pretty sure he was the one who folded the flag that was draped over the coffin and gave it to Chance's mother as well).
