Humble and Proud

I agree that this movie should be required viewing for all ages, even in school. I didn't have a dry eye the entire time. I would not be able to escort. I would cry at everything. It would definitely keep me humble and proud to be an American.

I sincerely hope that all fallen soldiers recieve the best possible care returning home. They certainly should, they were fighting for us. It's the least we owe.

A few days ago I was on a plane that was escorting the remains of a fallen soldier. When we landed we were all asked to remain seated until the military escort was off of the plane. There firemen, policeman, and a hearse waiting on the ground when the plane arrived at the gate. Really sad, but touching. I have never heard an airplane so silent upon landing, everyone was very respectful. My heart was breaking.

I am sorry to hear that your heart was breaking after that flight but it shows that you really cared for that fallen soldier and showed a lot of respect for him or her when she departed from the hull of the plane.

I teared up as well watching this great movie and I agree with you that everyone should watch this film because it is very moving.

All brave men and women that have served their country and died in action are always well taken care of when coming home.

I think that any civilized citizen in a civilized nation would feel the same respect and gratitude that we see in this movie.
