I couldn't help feeling emotional watching this beautiful masterpiece. While I was watching it a thought crossed through my mind: I'm proud to be an American.
It is not a perfect country, not everyone is nice, not everything is fine, we have troubles, many problems... but this is the country I'm happy to claim as mine because I'm glad to see my fellow citizens honoring one of our young warriors. Everything we got, we owe it to those who made the ultimate sacrifice on our behalf.
I'm an American of hispanic descent and I'm happy to say that I'm proud of my country. We got to be thankful for what we have and less critical for what we don't have because there are no perfect countries out there and at least I can say I will always be free being part of this nation thanks to our troops & men like Chance Phelps.

I'm also of Hispanic descent like OP and I have to say that my love for this country has no limit. When I see my fellow Americans display patriotism and render honors to our fallen heroes it makes me feel a kind of pride that I think I'm going to explode...That's how I feel.
