My mother rented this thinking it would be "cute"

Random topic, this was years ago when the movie was first released on dvd. I laughed and watched this movie and was thoroughly fascinated and disturbed. My mother never saw it. I'm surprised she thought it was going to be a cute movie because she thought Dren was cute. I have since wondered if anyone else is thought it cute.

I thought Dren was cute to start with, when they were calling her H50. But after she got more "human", not so much.

Her legs gave away, they looked like a centaur or something.

Dren was cute and strangely beautiful as an adult. Not so much as a male.
