Did cherie really call joan while she was on the radio?

I don't think so (I forget what Joan says in the commentary). Joan hit it big in 1981. In her book, Cherie describes working at the linen store after getting sober, her boss getting snippy as she talked with actress Rosanna Arquette, who stopped by (mentions this was after Silverado - 1985).

I have some old KROQ recordings of Rodneys show where he takes calls from the Runaways back in their heyday, as well as from 1981 when Jett had just formed the Blackhearts and Lita is the one who actually called KROQ and had a bit of live-on-the-air conversation with her. tidbit.

Also according to Joan in the DVD commentary Cherrie did call and the call was almost word for word. Pretty much verifies it.
