Did the Filmmakers do a Good Job?

Did the Filmmakers do a Good Job? Seemed like continuance and editing was pretty sketchy and all over the place...

On IMDb the movie is rated only 6.5 ~ didn't it have a lot more potential??

This movie should've been way better than it turned out. There's a very cool story to be told but it didn't get told too well in this movie. Unfortunately.

I agree.
I'm a die-hard Joan Jett and The Runaways fan, and I was able to forget the fact the "vampire-girl" was performig Joan, and I actually like Dakota Fanning. But this movie is totally disapointing (sp?).

The movie makers should have been honest and named it "Joan & Cherie: Runaways Girls" or something like that. There's no "Runaways" in here. Lita Ford is and was an amazing guitarist (she was lead guitar, even better than Joan), but here it's all about this 2 girls and Fowley... even Marie has much more screen time than Lita and Sandy togheter! By the middle I was hating young Dakota.

The pace was slow, too many remarks on Cherie's and Joan's sexual issues, it was so promising but ended up being such a bore... Joan knows how to rock, but she doesn't know much about filmmaking... and they didn't even mention Lita's succesful career during the 80's! She rules the world of hard rock while she was under Ozzy's wife management.
And I didn't like Lita Ford at all when I was young! Not her "sex-bomb" image nor her music! I was all about Joan!

Please excuse my terrible redaction, english is not my native language.
