I just rented the original documentary

then rented this drama

I don't remember them mentioning his second boyfriend killing himself in the original documentary? Did they and I just forgot? Is the dramatic version changing the chronology?

Lira's suicide is briefly mentioned in Harvey Milk's Wikipedia. There however, it says they had already split as a couple.
