this is beyond retarded. i mean is it really that hard for them to think of a different title or a different subtitle? this is the ultimate statement if there is no originality in Hollywood. oh and also technically this movie has pretty much the exact same title as the first one because the in a title at the beginning of a movie title doesn't exist.

I think they *have* been pretty creative with the titles actually , just look at the the other films that have that many in the series:
Halloween
Elm st
Jaws
Star trek
etc
its just I then 2 then 3 (maybe they chuck in a 3D! at this pont) then 4 then 5 .... yawnz
Stallone tends to follow that 123 formula with Rocky & Rambo , then when it gets to the end of the series he gives up on the numbers.
It seems to be a common complaint that the Fast and Furious movies are just copies of each other, but this really is not true. They make share a few common elements, but the first three movies are really quite different from the newer films.
The first movie in particular is a relatively grounded crime story set in the world of street racing. Somehow that morphed into what we have today, an over-the-top action series that seems to borrow a lot from the James Bond franchise.
