I actually do like these movies i know they arent meant to be picked apart, but why they hell were they smuggling drugs into mexico from the u.s.? its supposed to be the opposite. wouldnt it make more sense to have cars full of cash instead.

No it was heroin they brought into mexico. they loaded the huge black suitcases into the hummer. dom and brian stole the hummer and tossed it in impound. when brian is talking to the feds they say just get us the shipment. he says whats more important taking down braga of a few hundred pounds of heroin off the streets.
shareI dont think so. I could be wrong here but I'm 95% sure they brought back heroin. I can remember when Dom opened the suitcase and Brian said "Thats what # million dallors looks like." (refering to the bricks of heroin)

you are right.` the semi truck took them to mexico then they drive through the tunnels back into the us. thats how they take the jeep to the impound lot. it'd be hard to take the drugs to a US impound while in mexico
