I was wondering that myself, there was no exit wound just the wound in his shoulder blade so where exactly did the bullet go, what did it bounce of his shoulder and go back out the way it came!!!

being shot directly in the back and leaving a wound like that would be impossible if it 'grazed' him. maybe if it was on the outside edge of his arm, yea but the middle of his shoulder? no i think it was just a plot hole they didnt think about

I don't know, I checked out the scene again, and it could go either way. A graze, or a full on shot. Graze would explain it, so I go with that. But it's up to the person I guess.
