Letty consulting Brian seemed so out her element

In the first movie, all we see is tough and rough "Letty". All her scenes were one dimensional. Then, we have 'Fast and Furious', this new "Letty" (which i guess time passing would explain) on a mission to try and get some help for spiralling Dom...by consulting the man who "betrayed" them. Seemed out her element to contact him, Letty looks like a person to have the same thoughts about Brian Dom (and the rest of the gang) had. Not to mention her even talking to the feds is a no-no by code, but i guess she saw something out of both their hands, and thought a friendly face with some 'power' could help that out. Those are my thoughts tho.

Maybe she just felt like he WOULD help since he did help Dom before by letting him escape.

Because he's the only one she COULD talk to that she could actually trust.

Ehh...still not good enough. Brian was still a cop, and they haven't spoken in a few years, Brian could've very well been Mr. Dudly Do-Right by that time, and even get all of her crew pinched. jus saying...

Not sure if you are still reading this post but.. here is my thought... She went to Brian not really trusting him but knowing that would have the ability to clear Dom's name since they Fed's have been trying to catch Braga for a couple of years. So in her mind My enemy is my friend at this point in time, and by helping Brian bring down Braga, Brian helps Letty clear Dom's name so he could come home and be with her and Mia...I think she keep this a secret because of the same reason..Brian betryaed them all...but to her she would do what it took to get her man back.

I hope this is more of what you were looking for.

yeh this is an old post but, im pretty sure she did it for Dom no because she trusted Brian, i guess she was willing to risk her life for Dom and thats why she did it
