When the real Braga is reveled they get a confirmation with finger prints and a photo. If a criminal profile was already there with the name Braga and his photo, then why chase the hell out for this long? Obviously they had the photo of Campos so it would have been a simple caging. Childish that!
shareI know this a almost a year old but I figured I'd answer anyway. They never knew Braga's first name and the fingerprint match cam from another countries intelligence agency. The way it plays out in the scene is a little confusing since the screen shows the fingerprint match on her screen but she has to wait for confirmation since she was technically viewing the screen from another country that was nice enough to share Intel. It was explained in the earlier scene where they find out they have no match in their system.
