Since I can't edit my previous post:
-The original: introducing all the original characters and with an emphasis on street racing before the series got too crazy beyond belief..
-Fast and Furious: the first true sequel that didn't sidetrack from the original, taking the series to that point up a couple notches in the action dept but not too crazy, keeping things flowing with Brian and Dom working together part 4 had a compelling storyline about avenging family that was enjoyable..
-Fast and Furious 6: I enjoyed this one as a follow-up to Fast and Furious (Forget Fast Five, I'll get to that in a moment) and a bridge to Tokyo drift/Fast 7..both this movie and Fast 5 reveal the angle that Letty survived the events of the 4th film, but I prefer Hobbs in this film needing Dom's help instead of being gung-ho in Five which I felt clashed with what was going on with Dom's team..
-Fast 7: I enjoyed the fast paced action in this one immensely as a follow-up to the sixth film rather than Tokyo drift, which was a major sidetrack story in the series..the Hobbs-Shaw fight was an intense highlight, we get to meet Mr Nobody and the ending with Dom and Brian was nostalgic..I prefer to watch 7 right after 6 (skipping Tokyo drift) just to save time during a marathon..
-Tokyo drift: Han's movie, let's be honest for those of you that want more story about him after Fast and Furious 6 then this one is your movie, not mine..a major sidetrack movie; I did appreciate the drift scenes in Japan and the short Dom cameo and the beginning race in the construction zone but not enough to put this movie ahead of Fast 7..
-Fate of the Furious: It seems these movies get more outrageous with every passing film and Fate is right up there with 4,5,6,7..all through the movie you could feel the missing presence of Paul Walker and I didn't care much for Cypher as Dom's adversary, her henchman was a cool, dark adversary..I also got a kick out of Eastwood's son as Little Nobody..
-Fast Five: I like how this one introduced us to Hobbs with a longer goatee than he had in 6, 7 & 8.. it had the only fight scene between him and Dom but other than that I felt this movie dragged story-wise, the beginning was a bit slow to develop and the unbelievable stunts: watching Dom and Brian improbably survive a 100 foot bridge plunge into the water off a speeding car or how about dragging that huge safe around Rio smashing everything in it's path (not to mention never getting stuck) the ending was a bit weak too.. I prefer to watch Fast and Furious 6 as a sequel to 4 and just bypass this one..
-2 fast 2 furious: another sidetrack movie in the series, I don't know where to begin with this mess of a fast and furious movie..I only watched it once in the theatre and that was enough!
