Did Cruise really park that car on the roof??

I always wanted to park a car like that, with the skidding fish tale.
I was surprised to see that it looked like he actually did it,
no stuntman or professional double??

Tight editing.

It's one of the funniest moments. It does look like he did it. If he really did do it I'm thinking it was a process, like maybe a stuntman perfected it and told Cruise exactly how fast to go, when to brake, which spot to start turning on, etc. It may have taken multiple takes. I suppose another option is that a stuntman did it on film, got out of the car, Cruise got in and got out again, but was edited to make it look like Cruise did it all the way. They would have to rely on a very steady camera and no earthquakes during that time.

...OR it was just CGI.

According to behind the scenes interviews and info, both Cruise and Diaz are pretty skilled action drivers and probably did more skid/slide stuff than other actors would do.
The YTube clip of Cruise driving a Redbull F1 car around a circuit is pretty awesome to see.

Cruise could probably do it, but the constraint would be time, budget, and indemnity.

He could've done the move, and then they added the pole and parking spaces with CGI.
