Aubrey Plaza as "Wow Platinum"

Oh. Maybe I'll skip it. I'm sort of not kidding.

On the one hand, its too bad.

This man -- in his "era" -- late 1960's(The Graduate, Midnight Cowboy), the 70s(Little Big Man, Straw Dogs, Lenny, All the President's Men, Marathon Man, Straight Time, Kramer vs Kramer); the 80s, (Tootsie, Rain Man -- let's forget about Ishtar)..was a "prestige superstar" (and two time Best Actor Oscar winner) to go alongside Nicholson, DeNiro, and Pacino.

On the other hand, evidently his Metoo-ish stuff was a bit more prove-able than with other accused, and screenwriter William Goldman in his book "Adventures in the Screen Trade" ratted Hoffman out as a tyrant towards co-stars Laurence Olivier and Roy Scheider on Marathon Man. (Hoffman in turn said Goldman was lying and seeking revenge against Hoffman for changing the ending of the film "on set.")

Who knows?

Mighty once, now fallen ,nearing 90 , doesn't much care.

Three minutes may be all he needs.

PS. A clue to the Hoffman personality. I cannot cite this but I read this quote from him back a coupla decades:

"Movie stars are sometimes wrongly pigeon-holed. Everybody says Warren Beatty gets all the girls...but I get all the girls, too."

Fair enough...except he was married at the time(still is, same woman.)

Wow, I didn't know she was that old (pun intended). She looks/acts young anyway.
