Good movie, silly ending.

I liked this movie, and I liked the 'Mike' character, a nice guy who was just trying to live his life without comprimising his principles. When the movie was over, though, I just thought "Is that it? There must be more". It was a silly note to end a movie on.

I think the ending is the best part of the movie if you take it as it's own. It's moving, grand and operatic without sacrificing the tone of the film... Hell, it's one of my favorite endings ever - when the movie is on the tele I always watch the ending.

But I watch only the ending. The rest of the movie is a huge labyrinth that comes to nothing so I might understand a person's frustration with all the built hype just fizzling away.

I think the ending is the best part. Beautiful, honest simplicity.
