Why the magicians?
I noticed quite a few famous and not so famous magicians in the movie. I was wondering if on the DVDthey mention them or say why they had them in the movie.
shareRicky Jay has appeared in many David Mamet films. He doesn't perform any magic in Redbelt though. The other magician (?) shows some sleight of hand in the bar early in the movie. I think this is to show that he is capable of the trickery needed later in the movie to fix the fight by changing the color of the marbles.
