Periodic Upvote: A Masterpiece B Movie

And I mean that in the highest regard. It's in the best tradition of great noir. One of the few 9s I've ever given.

The only reason to not love this is if yer expecting a 'fight' movie like Warrior. But it's not a fight movie. The actual fights are the least important part of the film.

Why? I came into this game for the action, the excitement... Listen, kid, we're all in it together.

It is a Mamet masterpiece but not a B movie.

I think almost all Mamet movies are B-movies. House of Games is definitely a B movie... again in the best sense of Maltese Falcon and Double Indemnity, etc.

I periodically try to stir some positive interest in certain movies I think deserve more attention.
