...is a little bit ridiculous considering the movie theme. I imagine Kevin Smith trying to convince her, without any success...

Actually I doubt he did. He's mentioned in the past he war uncomfortable filming nudity in Mallrats. Aside from Mewes I can't think of any other Judith aside from the brief bit with Joey Lauren Adams in Mallrats.

I guess Elizabeth Banks nudity would have been too epic for this movie.

I watched the "making of" feature on the Dvd.. Kevin said he didn't want her naked, it makes him uncomfortable. So he told Elizabeth she doesn't have to be naked, we have porn stars to do that instead.
