Censoring Question

I've seen this movie all the way through once and seen bits and pieces of it multiple other times. It's on Comedy Central as I'm writing. When Seth and Craig are discussing Craig being a producer and he mentions Craig could have a TV in the bathroom, there's a line that says something like "I can watch *beep* while I *beep* On this line the first *beep* was not censored, the 2nd was. So what, the word as a noun is fine but as a verb it isn't?

reply

Darn imdb for censoring! S*h*i*t.

reply

Comedy Central is stupid many times and censors "situations".

Like for example, saying "ass" is okay,
but if they said like "shoving something up the ass", it's sometimes censored.
It's completely stupid and pointless censoring the context of how it's used.

yeah tv is weird when it comes to that kinda stuff. louis ck talks a lot about tv censorship with his show. and like the other dude says its about context. saying sht as another way of saying stuff is considered not as bad as saying sht in terms of taking a crap. at least thats whats i think but who knows.

You can say the S word as long as it doesn't actually refer to feces, and the F word as long as it doesn't pertain to sex. Crazy right?

Yes, we learned this on South Park from Mr Garrison hahahaha.
