So, I may watch it again to be sure, but my understanding is that the second act was first, and then the first and third act, in that order.
Assuming that is correct, what was the little girl in the elevator telling Veronica not to talk?

shareI guess it's just a spooky scene for ambiance. In the first act, one of the rules is that you can't talk without being spoken to, remember? So that's what the little girl was alluding to, and it's a reference only for the viewers at home. The character, Veronica, hasn't been kidnapped yet so she's puzzled by that statement. The little girl is the main villain's daughter, and maybe they were staying at the same hotel.
