Did Denzel imagine the press clippings in the metal case under the floor boards. We know he imagines things (has conversations with dead people). The reason I think this is because when he goes back to clean the house he opens the case and they don't show inside the case and when he burns everything at the end he opens the case and it is empty.
I think that they were real. If Leto isn't the killer, which is my suspicion, he at the very least is obsessed with such killers. I'd imagine he would've moved them elsewhere after he caught Denzel roaming in his apartment, which would further convey his intended message that be is the killer - should a warrant be served.
sharetrue, they did give enough clues to make it go either way. biggest argument that he is not the killer is the opening scene, but who says that it is the same killer. also, the opening scene the "killer" had a blue car; in the jogger scene the "killer" had a brown car and jared leto was driving a green car. so who knows.
