What a lazy soundtrack
They used to most cliched songs like Welcome to the Jungle and Highway to Hell etc.

I was referring to the character himself, though. Megamind consciously chooses to act like your stereotypical villain therefor he chooses a stereotypical bad guy soundtrack. However trite it may be, it fits his character. There's also the small matter of the film as a whole being a play on the clichéd 'good vs. evil' plotline. It was meant to be superficial.
