It was a ridiculous plot! Their cars cross paths, she screams and shout that he was a bastard for doing this to her, and bla bla bla, but she never hears his message? "Just you and me, baby?" C'mon!
And he loved her soooo much, why not show at her door and make her listen to what had really happened? He flew to Paris to get her, for Christ sake!
I don't know...I think that this misunderstanding was awful. They should had just made Big leave her at the altar as she taught she did and then make her forgive him at the ending (because she always forgives him anyways). It would have be nice to see another side of Big, to show how he was scared of marriage.
Ummm.... If you had watched the series you could answer all your own questions. And further, it wasn't because of Lily. Carrie always had a trust issue with Big due to events in the series (again, if you watched every episode you would know this) that made what happened that day on the street totally make sense for BOTH characters.
