During the closet fashion show scene. I get it's just a movie and we have to suspend some disbelief. But Carrie was clearly a size 0 or 2 and the other ladies, while still slim, were considerably larger. They girls seemed full zipped up and everything.

OMGGG! How have I never seen that?! Thanks for posting that :) I saw the first part of the scene, but my DVD cuts out after they all say 'take' to Carrie's classic white dress. There must be an extended version of the movie I've never seen :x
Good point though, OP. I HIGHLY doubt all the women would fit into Carrie's clothes. Not saying any of them are big, but Carrie is WAYYY more skinny than any of them!
I now how you feel, I didn't feel like getting up and fetch my dvd from tghe shelf, so I decieded to watch it online, and I found the extended verson, and there are a lot of scenes I've never seen. I love it. :D

All the clothes didn't have been made to be skin tight. Some om the clothes could have been designed to be a bit baggier, baggy on Carrie = thighter on the girls. As I saw, they were mostly trying on clothes with some elacticity.
