After all these years...
... I actually like Carrie's "labeless dress", thinking it the perfect choice.
Has anyone else warmed up to it - assuming you disliked it in the first place?

I always liked it! It looked more like Carrie, particularly at that age.
shareSame! I love the little jacket especially, and the cinched waist. I would so wear that!
shareThe always found that Vivienne Westwood dress she choose - out of all those lovely ones she tried on - to be hideous. Especially with the bird on her head? She looked terrible.
shareThe Vivienne Westwood dress looked better during the photo shoot, with that nice simple veil; however, the whole outfit looked bad when Carrie wore it for her wedding. Oh, the bird was just terrible.Honestly, I am still wondering 'why???'
Vulgarity is no substitute for Wit- Violet, Dowager Countess of Grantham
I agree, she had really harsh makeup and I don't think anyone liked the bird accessory. She looked much better in the photoshoot although I don't think the wings on the boobs were necessary.

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that I'll be over here looking through your stuff.
I loved it. It was classy and simply yet elegant at the same time
shareOh and I liked the Oscar de la Renta (pardon me if that's spelled wrong) dress, but the look they gave her was HORRENDOUS! She shouldn't have had her hair pulled back in that low bun with the bright red lipstick. I wouldn't have allowed the makeup artists to do that to me
shareI liked the Vivienne Westwood dress but the bird was horrific. She looked a lot nicer 2nd time round.
"What you don't like rice? Tell me Michael, how can a billion Chinese people be wrong?"
I liked it better than the Vivienne Westwood dress for sure. I was really wondering why they were making such a big deal over that dress - it looked so tacky, like others have said, especially with that ridiculous bird in her hair.
shareHmm. I can't say that I have. I never liked it to begin with. I can understand her choosing a simple white sundress or even a tutu style dress (if she wanted to be low-key), but a white suit? No way. It was just too un-Carrie. I could see Miranda (maybe) wearing something like that, if she were to wear something white.
