Worst line in the movie

When Carrie and Miranda are shopping for Miranda's Halloween costume and a little kid jumps out to scare them.

Carrie: "It'll take more than that to scare me after what I've been through."

Boo hoo, cry me a *beep* river,Carrie. We get it, you're hurt. Your heart was broken by a guy who treated you like *beep* for 10 years but you stayed with anyway. Meanwhile your best friend, who is dealing with real life issues like being a mother, high power lawyer, and going through a divorce has to listen to your *beep* It pisses me off the way everyone, but especially Carrie, acts like she is going through something worse than Miranda. Also, this is just such a whiny, immature thing to say. Get over yourself.

Typical Carrie.

Very typical. It always boggled my mind that Miranda should forgive Steve immediately for having SEX with another woman, but Big had cold feet and he should be banished from Carrie's life forever. When he came back to marry her, her friends bundled her into the car and they drove off. No explanation, nothing. Carrie made that wedding into a circus, and it bothered him. If she had said that was what she wanted to begin with, he may have been fine. But a small wedding of 75 turned into 200 because of "the dress". She said it herself she let the "wedding get bigger than Big".

This was such a poorly written movie....it should have been an episode of the TV series, not a two and a half hour movie. As a result, it was filled with bad lines, the characters became nasty caricatures of their former selves: Big was even more standoffish than usual, Miranda was more bitter than usual, Charlotte was an even more ignorant priss than usual and Samantha was hornier than usual. As for Carrie, she was the world's most selfish prima donna and all round pain in the arse. Seriously, four years had gone by since the series had ended, were we really expected to believe that Big would still treat Carrie in the same disregarding manner he had throughout the series? They had been living together for four years, it wasn't like they were on again, off again, the way they had been all through the series, so their relationship would not be the same. The whole contrived notion that all this drama came about because of miscommunication, other peoples' interference and blaming one person for another's fears was pathetic. This could have been so much better than it was; the only reason it was so popular was because of the sense of nostalgia it evoked, which just goes to show how desperate the movie going public is!

Don't let anyone ever make you feel like you don't deserve what you want.

I agree so how long from the almost wedding and Halloween and she's still whining about what happened. Come on, I know she was hurt, (her little temper tantrum in the street about being humiliated kind of made her look REAL immature)
But to carry on for months and months get over it
